Children are the most beautiful and precious gifts that God can give us. We live our lives living for ourselves and then something so precious and beautiful is given to us and we realize that there is more to life. There is someone else to live and breathe for. Our precious babies are born and our lives are never ever the same. As parents, we face many challenges raising our children. When they are babies, their every need has to be met and we are faced with many sleepless nights pacing the floors and singing lullabies. When they become toddlers we face tantrums and defiance. They grow and grow further away from us and into their own person facing their own challenges. Through all the soccer games, birthday parties, boyfriends, girlfriends, and eventually college we stick by them through it all. So many of us are taking on their entire education until they reach college and it is up to us to ensure their future. As you are shaping and molding your children in prosperous adults, trying to make ends meet, and somehow finding the time to nurture your relationship with your spouse, you’re just trying to regroup and sustain your sanity. Being a parent is one of the most unselfish jobs you can have and it is more rewarding than obtaining wealth and riches. It is nobler than building an awesome retirement and yet so many of us are faced with the doom of not being able to provide everything that we want to for our children.

As a parent, I am well acquainted with these challenges. I am twenty-three years old, I have two beautiful sons, and I work hard everyday to earn money to provide for them. While I am a good provider, the economy is affecting all of us right now. Christmas is a little slimmer this year, the grocery budget is being stretched a little more, and my creativity is really being put to good use this year. I can see that as a blessing because I know that I can make lemons to lemonade and whatever challenges face me, I can see it through.
As a mother of a baby, I have faced a lot of expenses since he’s been born. Between formula, diapers, clothes (he keeps growing out of), and baby food, I have been spending a lot of money just on one child! I commend those of you who have three or more children. I honestly don’t know how you do it all. You are certainly more of a super mom than I am. I found this great website for those of you who have babies. Make your own onesies offers a great way to save money by making your baby’s clothes for them and it is pretty simple too. Babies grow out of things so fast and it is also a great gift giving idea for people who have babies.
For those of you who stay at home with your children and are trying to find ways to provide a solid educational base for them, I know you are trying to find the deals and steals. I have recently been burning to get the My Baby Can Read system, but it seems so expensive and the kids just learn to read with good old fashioned phonics right? Well, I was browsing through the internet and I found a great system that will teach your baby to read using the same principles and it is a lot more affordable! I know some of you have all the kids you can handle, but some of you are holding out for that one baby that is the right gender. Maybe you are a mother that keeps having boys and you just want a little girl or perhaps vice versa. As a mother of two boys, I can relate. I had some extenuating circumstances and unfortunately, I cannot have anymore children, but I would have loved to have had a girl. I wish I had known about this before. I have made my way on the internet using my creativity by writing and illustrating children’s books. I have written a great book called Self-Publish Your Children’s Book on the Internet. For those of you interested in this line of work, you will be educated about how to write, illustrate, publish and market your children’s book 100% online. You can make a significant living without a publisher or an agent. If you’re tired of rejected submissions, this is the path for you to take.
Many of you don’t feel all that creative, but you know that your children are the most talented people on the face of the earth if only someone could discover them. How would like for your children to be the next Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dakota Fanning, or Child star? I have found a great resource for those of you who wanted to get your foot in the door, but didn’t know how to go about doing it. Get Your Child Into Modeling is a great eBook that will give you all the ins and outs of this industry. You’ve always known your baby is precious, now let the world know.
As a mom who stays at home with my children for most of the week the top challenges I have faced are the terrible threes and just not having enough time for myself. I have found the best resources to help me to keep my sanity. The Better Behavior Parenting Wheel has been one of the most valuable things in my household. It really has helped to keep those tantrums under control and my son is behaving because he wants to and not because I threaten to punish him. I think those of you struggling with this would really benefit from it. I have also read the best eBook out there for busy moms I Need More Time. This book will give you great ideas for how to stay organized, budget your time, and manage a household. I know it has really helped me to be more grounded and solid as I try to do it all.
Now for the good stuff! Most of you are looking for good deals or completely free resources for your precious babies. I have found these great websites and offer free printables and lots of good content. Enjoy!
